Bio..

The stage was small and not as many people showed up as I thought. It’s never what you’d expect it to be. Not to mention the friends and family that said they’d come and didn’t. Now the time is here and for some strange reason, the lesser the people, the bigger the nerve pain. Straight to the bathroom to throw up. This is when I look in the mirror and think of all the reasons why I deserve this.. I think of all the painful thoughts of the past and all the mistakes that I've made. My kids deserve this now.. I deserve this now. So fuck all of the critics. I am going to burn this fucking stage to the ground. Close to a black out, I stand on the stage and lose all focus. The nerves shatter and crumble beside me and the anger screams out from my spine, yelling aaaahhhhhh. This is Lociss and Lociss is here to stay.

I’ve been booed off stage in the middle of a boxing ring because the sound was bad. Right after, I started slammin the alcohol to hold back the tears. Then got an offer to get in the ring and fight one of the professional boxers because his opponent stepped out. So what do I do, get in the ring for two rounds and get knocked flat on the mat. Funny thing, I got cheers right then. They held up my hands and the people loved me. Guess you’ve gotta get fucked up to get respected.

I released my first album Existance in 1998 and thought it was to the top from there. Ordered 1,000 copies, expecting them to sell themselves. That’s when I realized that I had no sales or promotional skills. Got discouraged and gave all of them away. Take that for promotion!! The haters call me stupid.. I say they can suck on my soundscan.

I released Hysteria with more heart and a little more sense in 2003. I still wasn’t making the music that was in my soul. Trying to keep it commercial enough to sell made me stress more than I needed to. More than my sanity would let me. But the introductory instrumental shead tears down my face when I unwrapped the cd and listened to it. This is what I’m doing it for.. The feeling that I get when I accomplish the unordinary. When I prove all the past negatives wrong and undertake the mudane. I’m forcing myself to be someone because I fucking love making music and I have a message. GETTING GOOD OUT OF BAD. Releasing stress and strive in a positive way regardless of how it seems.

Then came Southwest Sic, the monster of all my creations, the third independent solo release 2008. People laugh and look at me stupid when I say it was my altered ego. But the people who truly know me, know that it's real. 17 songs of perverted, drunken madness. Finally, I released the craziest thoughts from my body without worry of the critics. Without the commercialism and without even worrying about the sales or promotion. Go figure, I’ve sold more units of this album already than I have of both previous albums together. This is what it’s all about.. Doing what you love and disregarding all other aspects of the system.

My fourth album Mr.Lociss “The Horror Show” is complete and will be releasing in 2009. Thank you all who have supported me the whole way through. I love you and I dedicate my deepest desire releases to you. Write me anytime, for any reason at all, and I will write you back.
